Analog to Digital Transfer

I’m the guy that never throws anything away. When everyone was converting to computers, CDs and MP3s, I took all my old reel-to-reel equipment, turntables and records and set them aside for later.
Now, I have the equipment to convert all those old audio memories that you saved from years ago to digital CD or flash drive.

I hear all the time “I have a box of Dad’s tapes in the basement and I would love to know what is on them”.

For a very reasonable cost, I can take your old cassette recording of the High School Marching Band or your grade school chorus concert and convert it to CD or MP3 flash disc for you to play at home on your modern equipment. Possibly you have a reel-to-reel tape that you made on the college radio station that you would love to hear again. I have several types of reel machines – full track, half-track, half-track stereo, quarter track stereo, and mono. Whatever your format, in most cases it can be converted, even cassette.
Each project is a little different and cost will vary depending on how much time it will require to “real-time” dub to the computer, convert to digital, and clean up the audio if necessary. Restoring the source material does take time so every project is different.
I would be happy to take a listen and quote a price.

I can also convert SOME VHS tapes to DVD. However it depends on the source material.
I do not have equipment to restore video, only transfer to DVD.
I am not equipped to transfer to Blue Ray and I can not do film to DVD transfer.

Please remember, material that is copyrighted cannot be copied legally. No doubt you are aware of that.
Below is an example of a choral concert from Colonie (NY) Central High School that was given to students in record/album form.
Also, keep in mind that not ALL audio can be restored to pristine condition, but I do my best.

Please email if you have any further questions, I would be happy to take a look at your project.
